Registration is open for the introductory teacher training under "European Mission"
- Invitations
The Sci High Foundation and its partners invite committed teachers and school teams to join the community of innovators bringing STEM approaches and the scientific method into Bulgarian classrooms.
The training is designed for teachers who want to transform the learning process and prepare their students to develop research projects, look for effective solutions for their local community, and build critical thinking, scientific literacy, and an understanding of European values.
What do participating teachers and schools get?
- Training and professional development: A set of introductory trainings on applying student-centred teaching.
- A community of visionaries: The chance to collaborate and exchange experience within a closed network of more than 60 innovative teachers from across the country.
- Ready-made resources and support: Developed STEM lessons, assigned science mentors, and end-to-end preparation for creating science projects and taking part in school and national festivals.
When does the training take place?
The introductory training is fully online and runs in two parts:
- Part one: 28 and 29 September
- Part two: 5 and 6 October
About the project
The training is delivered within the “European Mission: Science and Values in Education” project – an 18-month initiative funded by the Partnership Fund.
The project is carried out by the Sci High Foundation as lead organisation, in partnership with the Together for the Future Association and the HALO Foundation. The project activities focus on the districts of Haskovo, Vidin, and Sofia. Registration for the introductory training, however, is not limited to those regions – it is open to teachers from across the country.
The initiative’s core aim is to use STEM education to foster critical thinking, fact-checking, teamwork, and civic engagement among young people, building a lasting model of trust between citizens and local government.
How to join
Teachers who want to become part of the programme can sign up for the introductory training through the registration form.
