A school festival aims to bring back interest in the natural sciences
Dnevnik.bg covered the first edition of Sci-High Fest, held on 26 June 2019 at the National Natural-Mathematical Gymnasium — four student teams, mentors from industry, real-world topics.
Dnevnik.bg ran a story on the first edition of Sci-High Fest, held on 26 June 2019 at the National Natural-Mathematical Gymnasium “Acad. L. Chakalov” in Sofia. On stage: four student teams presenting projects developed with mentors from science and industry, around real-world problems.
The piece included:
- The festival’s concept and a comparison with the international High School Science Fair model on which it was based.
- Short profiles of the participating students and the topics they worked on.
- Voices of mentors on what a working professional sees in teenagers’ work.
- The organisers’ goal of turning the festival into an annual event and expanding it across all regions of Bulgaria.
