Youth for the Earth! Sci-High on BNT's "100% Awake"
BNT's morning show "100% Awake" featured the Sci-High Foundation and the partner programme "Become an Earth Advocate with Khan Academy" — a youth festival for sustainability and climate.
Sci-High joined the morning programme “100% Awake” on BNT together with partners from the “Become an Earth Advocate with Khan Academy” initiative run by Education Without Borders, alongside the “EcoChampions” programme of the foundation.
The occasion was the environmental festival “Youth for the Earth!”, held on 19 June 2022 from 11:00 to 16:00 at the Faculty of Biology of Sofia University — a shared stage for student teams, mentors and organisations working on sustainability.
The programme featured:
- Voices of mentors and students from the EcoChampions programme.
- A short overview of the projects — from indoor air quality to waste management and energy efficiency in schools.
- A discussion of how climate science can become “interesting” in the classroom — not as another abstract topic, but as an exercise on local data.
