"Labyrinths of knowledge" on student science and Sci-High
BNR's "Labyrinths of knowledge" — a weekly programme on science and the scientific mind — hosted Sci-High to discuss what student science projects look like and the gap between "science" and "scientific culture" in Bulgarian schools.
“Labyrinths of knowledge” is a weekly programme on the “Hristo Botev” channel of Bulgarian National Radio in which scientists, researchers and educators talk about how the modern scientific mind works. In this edition, the guest in studio is Sci-High — the foundation that has supported student science clubs and festivals across Bulgaria since 2019.
The conversation covers:
- Why “scientific culture” is broader than the natural-science curriculum — and what it means for a teenager to have it.
- How Sci-High structures a six-month project cycle: problem → hypothesis → experiment → data → presentation.
- What “scientific-method mentorship” looks like in a real conversation — not as a theoretical concept, but as a sequence of concrete questions.
